I was interested in the course, the course is pretty relevant and has all the required things to survive in the real world, the faculty is great and course prepares you for real world applications or further academic pursuits

Apple, Google , jpmc , amex,etc offer internships from 30000 to 150000. High amounts of hackathons and projects are required to achieve internships with high stipends, projects help in achieving internships

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and can sit for internships from 3rd year, apple, atlassian, Google, jpmc ,etc. highest package is 64 lpa and average package is 12 lpa. 80% students are placed this year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is 19lakhs and fees increases every year, I didn't receive any scholarship but I hope to achieve scholarship in the future, I have availed for a hostel with fees of close to 40000 per semester

Annual fest is saturnalia and sports fest is called urja,library has various facilities and books can be issued for a month. Classrooms are modern with good seating arrangements for students. Econ club,ccs,mlsc are popular Run clubs

The admission process was smooth, the form is available on the main site , I recieved admission in the eec branch on the basis of jee mains(percentile 88.89),the admission process can be improved by providing all the information required as soon as the candidate recieves a shortlist for a branch

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

It gives excellent placement offers with around 270 companies visits. The highest package for 2025 passng batch is 54LPA with a average package of 10 to 12 LPA. Top companies like google , apple ,microsoft,amzon ,Barclays ,deloitte and many more offers in thapar.

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.

i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
