Course Curriculum Overview

The college followed the curriculum as mandated by the University of Delhi. But to the faculty's credit, they did offer courses such as Digital Marketing, Personal Finance, Business Research etc. Although these types of courses are mandated by the University, it boils down to the college faculty's precedence whether they wish to inculcate these courses into the curriculum, which DDUC did. The Faculty is amongst the best in DU with really great professors.

Internships Opportunities

The Placement Committee organizes internship drives and there is also a Social Responsibility Cell organizing volunteering drives. The companies coming in are okayish, and there aren't any big names one can look out for.

Placement Experience

The Placement Committee of the college is also fairly active with companies like Deloitte, EY, Genpact and Wipro emerging as the 'mass recruiters' and offering decent industry-aligned packages. There also other companies like Unacademy, HP, Aditya Birla Sun Life, Freecharge, Catenon, Sattva, ICICI, Willis Tower Watson, PWC, DE Shaw etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does offer scholarships to meritorious and EWS students. The fee structure overall is a bit on the higher side but makes sense it all the infrastructure and facilities in place. The Placement Committee of the college is also fairly active with usual recruiters like Deloitte, EY, Wipro, Willis Tower Watson, DE Shaw etc.

Campus Life

There are many active student society organizations and clubs within the college. DDUC has an immaculate three-storied library with a range of books, a digital library and a computer centre as well. The infrastructure is also amongst the best and well-maintained. Since the college is off-campus, the campus life cannot be compared to colleges in the Delhi University Campuses.

Admission

The admission happened on a merit basis, based on the 12th score as with all other DU colleges. The cut-offs opened thrice for the admission process. The cut-off ranges from 94 to 97%, depending upon the admission rounds. The admission process was smooth.

Our college provides a decent placement as per current scenario. Now we have seen that there is a downfall in our placement of all top colleges like IIMs and IITs. Companies visited in our college includes Deloitte Accenture Genpact bajaj etc Almost 30-40 % student placed in commerce faculty

Jesus and Mary College: The Place to Gain Well Rounded Success

Placement Experience:

The College offers both internship as well as placement opportunities to the students . Yearly, the college hosts an internship fair for the students to have Live interviews with the companies at the fair. This gives us a real world experience with the job markets in Accounting , Finance , Consulting and Marketing. The placement cell at JMC is an active society wherein students are provided the opportunity to sit for placements in a professional format . The average package at Jesus and Mary College for the Commerce Dept is about 800000 indian rupees , which is an upper edge compared to various Delhi University colleges.

Dyal Singh College: south campus

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in Dyal Singh college. Some of the few visiting companies of the college are tata consultancy, pregrad, prisco, DeltaX etc. the placements of the college are below average having the average package of 400000 pa . However there are a lot of internship opportunities for students where they can learn about the industry.

Venky is somewhere you can have the proper College life

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good.You can get an average of 6.5 lpa just by doing BCom which is pretty good and it can go even higher .You can also pursue a professional course like ca or cfa as this college is not very strict and you will be able to manage your time.I have hear that big companies like delloite and Sonari have hired from Venky.

Delhi university in-depth analysis

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate 5 star to the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. Delhi university provides wide variety of courses to choose from. I'm glad that Delhi university is introducing the new subjects those teach moral values mainstream subjects. Frequency of exams is pretty well you just have to give exams 2 times a year but the problem is they start admission just before the two or three months of exam. So, you don't get enough time to study

Placement Experience:

From 5 or 7th semester the students become eligible and various big companies like Deloitte and big 4 have visited and give various offers to the students highest package is 21.5 lpa and average package is around 5-7 lakhs pa My plans are not sure I'm looking into videography field by travelling as much as I can.

Placement of my college is decent as compared to other private colleges as fees is also very less. Average package was 4.5 lakh last year and highest was 17.5 lakhs. percentage of students getting placement is somewhere around 10-20% of total applications

Life at DDUC

This college is one of the best colleges in DU with respect to course curriculum as well as placements.
