- obviously the mess food by sodexo and the hostels.

- number of elective they offer in ece branch
- exam patterns in exam days is not that good
- student must return to their hostels by 8:30 pm .
Course Curriculum Overview
From my point of view the course I pursued that is electronic and communication because In have very keen interest in electronics from my jee prepartion days. and in thapar the facuties fron this branch is very highly educated and from my view the curricullam for this course is very good in thapar beacuse they focus on the topics that very relevant to get a good job like VLSI and MOS and spice coding.
Internships Opportunities
thsis college has one the best internship culture from my point of view more than half of the student get intership in the 8th semester and it is mandatory to do internship of 6 months in the 8 semester.
Placement Experience
from my point of view the college has good placement although the last year placement was not good due to recession in india but then also student are getting placed in good company.my plan after the degre is to do job.nearly 75-80% student get place every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
the per semester fees is 4 lakh which I think is too high beacuse the student like me who belongs to middle class family it is tough to pay the fees.But the good thing is thapar provide scholarship to student based on there CGPA .
Campus Life
the overall college life of thapar is very good. We also have annual fest with the name Saturnalia it mainly held in the month of november .the best of thapar is its newly bulid library it ha more than 10 lakh books you can get nearly every book there and also infrastucture of the college is one of the best in india for sure .the classes are filluy AC and the hostels also have Ac which is very good. nowdays there is new sport center is in countruction so we also gonna have a A class sport comples,thapar have many clubs also have many technical society so its good for college.
Hostel Facilities
from my point of view thapar has one of the best hostel facility .its hostels are like hotels .thapar has 11 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel and there is 1 hostel in construction.the rent is liitle expensive but compared to gov college the hostels are very good
Admission
so I took admission in year 2021 so 50% student were taken from the 12th percentage (pcm) so I have got 95.6 % and i am outside punjab general category so first i have got mechanical but later in the spot round I have ECE brinch my jee mains percentile was 93.8 and my rank was 54k something.in thapar cut off for computer science branch is very high either the child should have more than 96% in boards or more 98 percentile in jee mains . But I like the college and the admission process beacuase unlike other private college it has more no of quality students.due to this only the avg package of thapar is more than many private institutes.

i dont like the college because of its strictess towards the student. this college is like a jail.for me college life matters which this college does not fulfill.
