My College Experience

In my Undergraduate Year 1, I am being taught various subjects in which some are related as well as not related to the specific specialisation I have chosen. My branch offers good learning about communication and equipments which sparked an interest in me. Also my branch offers a good package as far as the records are concerned.

As informed by the seniors, the intership opportunities are vast and can be started from UG 1st year itself in order to gain some job experience. Some seniors are into game development, some into cyber security etc.

My college has a placement unit where the Seniors undergo PI and GD and discuss their potential job opportunities. Students from 3rd year onwards are eligible for placements. Some companies like google, apple, amazon have recruited students from my college. About 60% students get placements from the placement cell itself. I would aspire to work for a big company and get a good package too.

The fees structure is shared prior to joining the institute and is very well defined. It is set to increase every semester with the addition of new courses and equipments which are to be made available to the students. TIET also offers scholarships based on the percentile scored in JEE Exams (upto 70%) and also some based on the sports background of the students.

My campus life has been great. I've made some good friends since i've joined the college, and my social interations have also increased considering i have talked to a lot of people after coming to this college. The club involvements are also good, the seniors keep the club active and the neccessary changes are made without much delays. The infrastructure on campus is fantastic, it is a perfect blend of urban yet green campus as it has a lot of greenery along with massive departments of various branches.

Hostel is very comfortable to live in. You get to live and manage yourself. The food in my hostel is better than expected and i very much look forward to take all i can eat evveryday. The rooms are small yet has everything needed to live a soothing life in hostel.

The admission process was smooth. I was granted admission in TIET on the basis of my JEE examination results in which I scored 89.95 %ile. I was initially given Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering but in third round of admissions, I got Electronics and Communication Engineering. None of the aspects were bad as far as the admission process is concerned.
