College With Best Campus

I googled and discussed it with my family members before choosing the course. One of my dad's friends is a teacher at IIT BHU and he helps me a lot in choosing the course. As i am in 1st year right now, I don't have in-depth knowledge about my course(EEC) but since my college conducts frequent ELC activity(Electoral Literacy Club), i have caught a glimpse of my course, and i can see i don't regret taking it. As for the teaching methods of Thapar, I can say it is very good. Teachers are very helpful and are also available on WhatsApp, so students can ask doubts. If some class are not happy with their lecture teachers, a small form with the signature of class GR/CR and the majority of the class submitted to DOA, the teacher can be changed. The labs have every equipment required to perform the experiment. The only missing thing is that teachers never take suprise quizzes, so students generally just study before the exam. Exams are quite frequent in this college tho. The gap between each exam is 2 and a half months.

There are many companies coming in thapar,some big ones like Gogle,Microsoft, etc and many small ones too.As for the project,teachers and faculity staffs are really helpful towards it.There are many projects held in TIET,one being done by FATEH group of our college which makes formula one.

Every semester student is eligible for placement. But mostly placement starts from the 4th semester.TIET helds a placement cell event for it. Most people get placements by the end of the 7th or 8th semester.TIET has an average package of 8 LPA, and the highest new hit is 40 LPA. TIET is visited by many companies like Google, Microsoft, and many more.96% of students get placed by 7th-8th semester.

Tuition fee is only increased when u change your course, else it remains same.As for my branch,the fee including development fee,examination fee,student activity and welfare charges,medical fee and insurence charges and tution fee of 100600. As for the scholarship,TIET conducts an exam few months after semesters stars.Scholarship is given accourding to rank ,branch wise ,ranging from 100% to 50%.TIET has many clubs, which holds random events from time to time, with a prize pool too.

The campus of TIET is what I would say is the best campus.I am from Banaras and I have visited IIT BHU, even tho it is big, it includes every course and stream, whereas thapar has quite big campus considereing it is only for engineering. Thapar campus, which spreads over an area of 250 acres,has everything which should be included in a college.From a park with fountain to skywalk where students can relax and fell the freash air.Thapar campus is really well made. As for annual and techinal fuctions,TIET hold event atleast every two week.There are many clubs in TIET which hold time to time some bsmall events and some big event too.Some has prize pools too. Thapar library, which is a three story building, has wide range of books collection.Stdents can even borrow the book from there.It has book rnaging from best recommended book for engeeering to book needed just to pass the exam. TIET classes are usually held in elcture hall,which is installed with prjectors and ofcourse,AC.

We are proded with a choice of type of room we need,and how many people we need.You can take a single seater room,or four seaater ,all depending on your personal choice.Meal quility depends on hostel.Some old hostel has okish food,while new ones has very good quality meals.You can always go to hostel warden if needed anything,and there is even a ambulance witha 24x7 service available,parked just behind every hostels.As for regestraation,you just needd to show them hardcopy of hostel fee,tell your name and they will tell you your room number.

The admission was was very smooth.Is was done without much problems.The admission was done on the basis of JEE mains percentile/10+2 exam percentile.The cutoff of COPC / COBS / COE / COSE / ENC / EEC on basis of JEE for general was 95%+ and on basis of 10+2 was 93%+.For application form,application fees and application dates you can visist official thapar site.I was of general category soo i didn't got any reservation benefits.
