- infrastructure is great here .campus size is 250+ acres with a beautiful ammendities including parks,cos complex,library and various deparments for subjects
- various subjects are avaialble here. it is very old college with good subjects
- many societies are available here including iste,gdsc,ccs etc.which hepls in student overall development

- punjab quota is quite high here which decrease the cutoff for some students
- 75 percent attendence is compulsory here else students can be deatined
- number of students intake is increasing year by year here which is decreasing the crowd quality
Course Curriculum Overview
the course currriculum is cool here , in thapar there are many societies which helps in overall deveelopment .the teaching methods are also good the college have fully equipped ac classes .the 75 percent attendence rule is also appplicable in this college

many companies visit campus for internship ...there is also compulsory paid internship here..jp morgan ,delloite,morgan stanley like companies visit the campus and offer good amount of paid internship here
Placement Experience
the college placements are quite good if we compare to the scenerio of private college .its placements are better than many NITS, the average package stood last year was 12 lpa and higest was arount=d 60 lpa.almost every student aspiring for job gets placed gere .internship starts from 5th semester here and many reputable company visit here

the tution fee is so high in this college that is somewhat dwarback but colleeg also provide best facilities to students ..there are si many scholarship programs on jee merit base and 1st year cgpa basis in the college .the students who maintains good cgpa will be qualifies for tution fee waiver scholarship

there are good numbers of college events occurs here .college events happens every 15-20 dyas here of diffrent sociuety where diffrent personallity like singers, comedians ,artists ,entrepreneurs ,and popular personallity visist the campus to guide the students .the libarrary avialble here is the 7th best library in asia .the classrooms are properly technological with projector teaching.thapar has best sports facilities .thapar has every ground for diffrent sports
Hostel Facilities
hostels are very good equiped here..80 percent of rooms are aitr conditioned.the meal provided here are three time by sodexo mess .the meals provided here are good quality .the rooms are affordable here in terms of needs .registeration process for hostels is quite simple .thapar has total 15-20 hostels .and some hostels looks like heaven with very cool infrastructure
Admission
the admission is donr through boards and jee mains score basis. 50 percent seats are reserved for jee mains basis and 50 percent for boards .there is also punjab quota 50 percent seats are reserved fot them.i dont like the high number of punjab students intake this decreases the level of college .the exams here are mid difficuilt every three minth exams are conducted as mid term test and end sem test .the punab quota should be less in order to maintain good crowd
