Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

the current curriculum for our course we are following is that 2019 curriculum.for the academic year 2024 our institution changed the curriculum included some interesting subjects and removed some old concepts.the frequency and timings of the exams is fine. we have one mid semester in the middle of the semester and final examination at the end.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

in our third year we get internship opportunities from the core companies like reliance, bajaj, tvs motors and some management firms.and we have a opportunity of getting a PPO from the interned companies we get placement opportunities in our final year.

Placement Experience

3

Comparing with previous years placements records the current placements was a little bit low.Our Campus Placement are working harder for bringing the companies.third year students are eligible for internships and final years are eligible for placements. we can avail 6months internship during our final year if we dont have subjects in the final semester except final year project

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure will be based on the annual income of the family.there are three categories that for a student having annual income above 5 lakhs there is no fee waive have to pay the full amount in the beginning of the semester. for the student having annual income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh the fee will be reduced to half.for a student having income less than 1 lakh have no fee, but there are some other fee.all the students can avail the benefits of the scholarships

Campus Life

4

the campus life at NITC is a wonderful experience for me. there were no any sort of restrictions for the students . we have much freedom in our campus, and it had taught me some life lessons. classrooms for some of the branches will be old fashioned as our campus is somewhat old.but our institution is building some new lecture halls, new class romms currently.we have many extra curricular clubs, innovative clubs.they are our stress busters

Hostel Facilities

3

currently we have around 15 hostels. for first years there are 2 hostels with room sharing of 4 people.for second and third year students we have a big newly constructed MEGA hostel which ahve a capacity of 4000 students.final year students and the first years can reside in the campus . mess food is average.for hostels we have to pay the total fee before the starting of new semester. we can opt for any hostels messes

Admission

admission to my course was through JEE mains conducted by NTA.After securing a rank, i chesked NIT opening and closing ranks for my preferred courses.i submitted my list of choices.there are six rounds in the counselling process and got my seat in my fifth round. i availed the admission under a reservation category. exams were moderately difficult, manageable with preparation just two days before.

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Placements are really good. Since college is related to ISRO maximum students with cgpa above than 7 are elligible for ISRO interviews and are selected based on their performance. Apart from ISRO many campanies like Texas Instruments, UTS, Mercedez , also come here for recruuitment. Many also opt for M.tech and MBA after graduation

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
