Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently studying the 2019 syllabus.The curriculum is same for all branches in first year.From second year onwards,the core subjects for each courses are introduced.Lab exams are provided for practical subjects.In every year there is certain subjects for developing professionalism in students.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies are coming for placements and giving internships to students for training.I applied for an virtual internship in prodigy infotech company in the domain cyber security.It is an unpaid internship spanning for 4 weeks.
Placement Experience
There is a dedicated career guidance and placement cell functioning in the college and bringing companies for placement drives.From las year onwards placements are open to students.Many major companies visit our college like cognizant,ust,ey etc.Most of the companies are it companies.The average CTC provided is about 4 to 5 lakhs.I prefer to get a job through the placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a tution fees of around 10000 during an year.There is seperate exam fees for each semesters.Financial aids like scholarships are provided to deserving students based on criteria.But the student have no back papers while applying.The scholarship amounts range from 10000 to 14000 in a year.
Campus Life
There is a total of 1300 students in the campus including ug and pg courses.Many technical societies and voluntary clubs are functioning in the college,there is strong presence of ieee in college.The annual fest of our college is called aagneya,it's a techno cultural fest.Sports meets are conducted every year.
Admission
The admission procedure is based on the entrance exam conducted by government of kerala.The entrance marks and 12th marks are added to make the entrance rank.Based on the rank,seat is alloted to students during admission.The more you get the rank,the more chance you get the best college and course
Faculty
Each department has only one batch in every year.Total of 75 students are in a class.Every department has well qualified teachers from recognized universities.I like all faculties in my department,because everyone is friendly and helpful.In a year,there is 2 semester exams and 2 series exam in each semesters.
