Fees and Financial Aid:

I am on tuition fee waiver based on merit, so I am excempted from a large amount from the approximately 10000 yearly fee. There was a caution deposit at the time of admission. Scholorships applied by students are usually NSP and Pragati and a few other government funded schemes and there are dedicated sections within the office that direct students throughout the application process. There are a few other schemes like laptop scholorships if you belong to economically weaker sections and so on.

The true beauty of GEC Barton hill

Fees is same around every govt college under ktu , which is around 34 k tuition fee. You can get egrantz scholarship with which it will be like studing with no cost .I egrantz SC and ST don't have to pay college fee as for others the tuition fee will be refunded after paying along with egrantz scholarship money.

There is a tution fees of around 10000 during an year.There is seperate exam fees for each semesters.Financial aids like scholarships are provided to deserving students based on criteria.But the student have no back papers while applying.The scholarship amounts range from 10000 to 14000 in a year.

Honesty Beside falsehood

We have a sem fees of around 10,000 which includes the university fees, exam fees and college fees. Fee concessions are given for SC, ST, OBC, EBW students through EGrantzz scholarship. SC/ST are given total fee concession whereas OBC, EBW students have to pay the fees but they get a scholarship amount of around 6000.MCM scholarship are also available here. As this is a government college, most students are economically medium level so the hike in fees at times affect them adversely. At the time of admission , college make us pay for Bus fees, PTA Fees, Alumi... And all, these are all unnecessary fees which are not refunded. The university too at times provide a deadline for fee payment which makes it discomfortable for economicaly low students. In campus I have taken the role of event head of various CSI events .

The syllabus followed in our college is a bit hectic and divergent.

Tuition fee fluctuates from time to time, but there is no overall hike. The complete cost would be around 50k. There are various scholarships that students can apply for that covers students from all backgrounds.

Actually i don't have to pay much. I just pais 2205 rupees as my semester 2 exam fee. But i didn't applied for any scholarships. Our campus provide best placements but package is less and this year placement opportunities was very less.

A very practical college amidst of the city

As it is a government funded college the fees structure is quite less like around 12000 and reservations have Variable fees. They also provide scholarships for different categories. Most of the placement is for IT sector eventhough ECE department also has a higher placement ratio compared to other colleges.
