Course Curriculum Overview

3

Our semesters are not long so we end up running to complete the syllabus in less than 3 months. So students end up learning stuff on their own. There are 2 series exams in a semester along with lab internals after which we have our end semester exams and external labs.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are fine but not that great. For our department I'd say its fine since its IT but for other departments there arent many options so they end up sitting for IT placements as well. There are a decent amount of offers some students opt for higher studies or off campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am on tuition fee waiver based on merit, so I am excempted from a large amount from the approximately 10000 yearly fee. There was a caution deposit at the time of admission. Scholorships applied by students are usually NSP and Pragati and a few other government funded schemes and there are dedicated sections within the office that direct students throughout the application process. There are a few other schemes like laptop scholorships if you belong to economically weaker sections and so on.

Campus Life

4

Due to no standing college committee due to lack of elections for the past 3 years there havent been events. But before that our college had hosted a large college fest which was one one of the reason why a lot of students opted our college in the first place. Sports does happen once a year. Library is great. There are a lot of technical clubs and startups as well.

Hostel Facilities

3

Only ladies hostel at this time. So men stay at locations close by which are mostly just 100 meters away or like at max 1 km away. Mess food is subpar but its livable. Hostel rooms are fine and there are dorms as well.

Admission

I didnt apply to many others but ours is well known for acad3mic excellence so that is one of the reasons. Also the location is very good since its very close to the hospitals and malls and many other landmarks of our state. The eligibility was KEAM.

Faculty

4

The faculty are very approachable especially IT department and have always been very progressive and supportive of our endeavours. So there are no favourites. The pass percentage is the highest in our department with only a few students with more than 2 backlogs.

Night Life

3

Nightlife is probably not a thing as much since the college closes by 9:30. There are a lot of locations within the campus all named so its hard to point out one. Every corner has a name. There is a canteen and theres a store within the college for convenience.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

The placement performance at the college can be described as average. While the institution does offer placement opportunities, only a portion of the students manage to secure job offers during their final year. Notably, students become eligible for campus placements starting from the seventh semester
