Course Curriculum Overview
As this course have a wide area of job opportunity so i choose this course. This course is basically based on satellites image interpretation, programming and software so this have a wide area of application in the real world like positioning, planning, disaster management ete. In our university we don't have any permanent professor, so if we have a permanent professor that will be very beneficial for us. In this course we have four semester and each semester is of sixth month.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our university the fee of this course is affordable to continue the course. The complete cost of the course is approximately 21-22 thousand and there also an exam fees of 300-400 Rs for each semester.We are applicable for Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship by this course. And there is no opportunities for students for campus employment.
Campus Life
Form October 2023 to till now we got freshers welcome from our department and the students union also and there will be a big program of 'Social' in the month of june- july .There is a wide range of availability of Books and journal in our central library and we also have many books in our department library. We have a practical room where we have many computer set up for our practical work and we also have free wifi facilitiy in the department. Till now from the joining we got one football championship and there was also an annual sports festival. We have WhatsApp group along with our senior so that we can discuss about our lesson and other opportunities.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is that students must have BSC degree ( Geography, math, physics and many more) in graduation. The application form was available in the University website and there was no application fees and application process was started in the first week of September. There were some reservation seats for sc, st , pwd and obc students. In our course we have sixth paper and each paper have 50 marks (40 written and 10 internal ) for exam , where the time is for 40 marks exam is 2 hours. In my opinion The University should make quick on there addmission process as some of my friends didn't got chance in the course because of late admission process and they went to another university.
