The Campus is lush green and spread across 300 acres
Boys to girls ratios quite good. Faculties are good
The campus placements provided by the college are good

The fees is too high to afford and one has to take loan to pay it
The number of student intake is increasing every year

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was getting this particular branch for the percentile I had scored. The student to teacher ratio is one is to 150. The teacher's are highly qualified and have done their PHDs from reputed institutes. Term exams were conducted timely and are easy to pass.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided from 3rd year to the students who have a good CGPA and have built good skills in coding or any other domain such as video editing web development. The projects made by student help them to get internship and placement opportunities.

Placement Experience

Students get eligible for internship from the fifth semester and for the placement from 7th semester. Many good companies visit the college such as Amazon Flipkart JP Morgan ,JP Morgan chase, Goldman sachs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The only problem with this college is its every year increasing fees which creates its difficult for student to pay without loan. Scholarship is provided in the college to the meritorious students and the students who get a high CGPA

Campus Life

The annual first conducted by Thapar is Saturnalia. It is conducted once in a year in the month of September. There are many books available in the library and Thapar is famous for its library as well. Centralise ACs are provided in the classrooms.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very good compared to other hostels in North India and hostels are well maintained and mess food is good. The fees for an AC hostel lies around 50000 rupees please. There many localities nearby Patiala to rent a PG.

Admission

One should have minimum 60% marks in pcm and should score 92 percentile in jee mains for getting ECE in Thapar University.One can find application form on the main website of Thapar i.e Thapar.edu. It is a good college but the only problem is sky high fees.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience
