Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because from i was interested in coding and i wanted to dive deep into world of programming. The faculty student ratio is perfect. All the faculty members are extremely well qualified with dignified teaching methods. The term exams are usually conducted once every 2.5 months and passing in those exams is easy if you study

Most of the students become eligible for campus placements from their 7th semester. The average package is around 10 lakhs INR per year. My plans after getting degree is to do good in my job and make sure the company i work in reaches full potental

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in thapar is justified . The tution fees is very optimal . Scholarship is awarded to students who do well in their semester exams and secure a good CGPA score throughout their 8 semesters

Campus Life

The life in campus is amazing. Its full of wonders. The annual fest organised for students is called the SATURNALIA. It is conducted in the months of November- December. The library is full of books on every topic one could think of. The sports opportunities are immense and the societies formed by students makes sure students learn things bar from the academic sector

Hostel Facilities

The hostel J is a very well built and cozy hostel. All the facilities are provided in the hostel rooms. The food given is also delicious and tasty. Registration process for hostel is done via website whose link is provided through gmail and the hostels are very affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 47500 per year

Admission

The cut off for seeking admission through JEE exams in Computer Engineering was 89 percentile and through 10+2 board exams was 91 percentage. I got it through board exams. The details to apply online are available at thapar.edu website

Interview Experience

I was not interviewed for admission. But i had to give the JEE entrance exam and class 12th board exams to secure admission in thapar college. I applied for admission through their website and all details were provided in the website only

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
