Some Teachers are not good at teaching and problem here to to find a rrsouce to study the topic
The drug culture here is not good . Even 1st year students are drug addict

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Computer Science, a good, The ratio of faculty to students is very decent. The teachers are highly qualified, and the teaching method is OK midterms, end terms, and sessionals are all conducted promptly.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For CS branches, the fee is a bit high compared to other branches like electrical, mechanical, and civil for scholarships, the students have to perform excellently in their respective branches. Students who perform well are given certificates and medals.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very decent and adventurous There is an annual fest called Saturnalia, which is Asia's most significant event there is a wide variety of books and journals in the library sports and extracurricular activities are also there on the campus there are many societies and clubs which students can join.

Admission

The admission process was magnificent. I got a COE branch, which is Computer Science. The eligibility of the course requires a good Jee Main percentile along with a decent 12th board percentage in the science stream. The application form is available on the Thapar University website itself. There is a reservation for students residing in Punjab. There is no improvement in the admission process that I can see.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking. I applied for VIT and SRM but didn't take admission due to poor quality of placements and peer group. I am from the General Outside Punjab quota.
