- Lecture are boring, profesor just come , speak, and leave
- 75 percent attendance is must here to sit in exams
- We do not have liberty to choose our professor which most good colleges have
Course Curriculum Overview
Thapar have standard course curriculum, faculty here is highly qualified and exams here are easy and you can score pretty good in them only via 2 days of practice. Exams are mid semester and end semester
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities here are preety good, most of students going for internship are of third or fourth year. Apart from internship, students work on different types of projects here which play important roles.
Placement Experience
Placement here are fine with average package of 10lpa, third year and onwards students are allowed to sit in campus placement, minimum cgpa required to sit in placement is 7. Almost all good companies come here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is 240000 for computer courses and 218000 for other courses and have additional fee for hostel and mess which varying according to room you choose, there are two types of scholarship here, merit based for top students and merit cum mean for poor ones
Campus Life
Life here is good and infrastructure is quite impressive with all the facilities required, labs hai all types of machines and equipments, there is good social life, it has it's annual fest with name of satanalia. Thapar is situated in main city of patiala so many clubs and restaurant are around
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility are good where you can choose your hostel and room, there are single sitting, double sitting and even three and four sitting rooms both ac and non AC which you can choose according to your requirements
Admission
I entered Thapar via jee mains result, here admission take place via jee and boards both having 50% seats for both methods, Thapar have 50% reservation for Punjab students 25%from each method of admission.
