Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have always loved coding and wanted to make my liking work for my career as it would keep me from exhausted job experiences. The teacher to students ratio is pretty much 1:100 . Most of the faculty is PHD holders and some even 5-6 PHD holders. The terms exams can be considered on the tough scale as it is set by the same faculty members .

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Placement Experience

The students are provided with campus placements from 3 rd year onwards and the average package vary from 4-5 LPA , whilst the highest on campus package was 64 LPA . Companies like TCS , Accenture , Capgemini , etc. visit for campusing .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure depends from stream to stream , though usually it is 1 lac for admission and 85000 per semester . Scholarships are to be searched from the students end , any other financial help , if provided is unlikely to be available.

Campus Life

The college is full of clubs and some even at global stages . The fests occur during the months of January and February. The classrooms are equipped with projectors but without AC so during summers it is sometimes difficult to concentrate amid 100 students in one room.

Admission

Eligibity is PCMB with minimum 75% in boards . Have to sit for IEMJEE exams and courses will be offered according to your score . You will be guven dates for giving the exams , exam centres to choose from . Usually the exam centres are IEM and UEM campuses around Kolkata or Jaipur . All details are available if searched 'IEMJEE' on google .

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-.
