Likes

The faculties are humble and friendly to the students.
The classrooms has speakers and projectors.
The library has a lot variety of books and journals

Dislikes

I don't like the college uniform as it maintains it very strictly .
There is no playground for outdoor games
The cafeteria of the college is too small to accomodate all the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I found this subject very interesting and it has a lot of depth into the subject and I can get many opportunities from the wide range of this course. There is sufficient faculties for each student and the faculties are very helpful and helps and negotiates with us when needed. All the faculties here are PhD students and their teaching method is good .exams were taken time to time as per schedule

Internships Opportunities

The companies like TCS,Wipro, Infosys and Cognizant provide internship opportunities to the students and they give sufficient amount of stipend to the students. We have done presentations and Arduino projects.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Tcs Wipro cognizant capgemini and many more companies have visited our college for placement purposes. Many offers were made. 72 lpa was the highest package. Mostly everyone here gets placement as the college is renowned for giving us placements. I want to do mtech

Fees and Financial Aid

Previously it was 75000 then it was 85000 so there was a change of 10000 and I find that very much slightly increased. All scholarships are provided in our college as well as many opportunities of abroad trips for internships are also provided.

Campus Life

Tech fest is conducted in November around or later in the next year. Cultural fests happen around the month of January. There is a wide collection of books in our library and each book has its own benefit. Classrooms are big enough rherea podium and lecture rooms too everything is well infrastructure. Eca has a major rule too

Admission

U need to have 70 percent above to get into this college and then u need to give an entrance exam if u qualify for it then you can get into this university. The application is found on the official website .

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-.
