Course Curriculum Overview

I took CSE branch as I was interested in coding and wanted to become a software engineer. in my college other than theoritical classes and practical classes there was coding hackthons arranged by my faculties who helped us improving our knowledge in coding by practising. Every semester would contain 2 mid terms and 1 practical exam and 1 final semester exam.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college provided us good opportunities for placements. All Big MNC visit our college along with that many small startup also visit. But the main thing is our college provide us placement training by the start of 4th semester itself

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees structure was semester wise where our semester fees was 60000. There was Scholarship opportunities for students like if we get above 9.5 CGPA then we would get scholarship of 75% . Similarly if we score above 9 CGPA we would get scholarship of 50% of total fees.

Campus Life

Every year there was tech and cultural fest held in my college where tech fest contained coding rounds and robo vechile race and wars etc. Every Semester we were allowed to issue only three books for full semester and other books we could read it in the library itself. There were various sports events held like football and cricket where teams where divided according to course branches like ECE, CSE.

Admission

The admission Process was through College Own Entrance exam and also Through WBJEE. Everyone above 60% in 12th board was eligible for IEMJEE. I gave IMJEE exam and scored 70 marks out of 120 and secured 343 rank and according to my rank I got CSE branch.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-.
