Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is good, but like all engineering curriculums, lack the theoritical depth of some concepts which are unnecessary for application. Professors are top quality here and quality of education is decent. Exams are timely and require a good amount of preparation of the course.
Internships Opportunities
Since i am a first year student, i do not habe much experience in internships. But i have heard my seniors get paid internships while few of them even get PPOs (pre-placement offers) The 3rd year is reserved for internships and the college is supportive of this.
Placement Experience
There is on-campus placement here, in the CSE department highest generally goes above 1-1.5 Cr per annum, while median is about 23 LPA. Due to recent recession in market, overall the placement of this year is a bit underwhelming than normal, but this might get fixed in the upcoming years. Big MNCs like Amazon offer placements here in various sectors such as IT, Finance, management, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of studying here is EXTREMELY low and this University has the BEST return on investment among all engineering colleges of India. Only 12k fees for 4 years (for non-IT courses) makes this course accessible for everyone where other institutions take lakhs and lakhs of fees.
Campus Life
Fests here like Sanskriti - the cultural fest, Srijan - the technology fest, and freshers parties like U-turn and CIIPPUS keep the excitement levels high thoroughout the year. Notable artists perform in these fests. The library also has an extremely vast amount of books to select from, and is a very nice place to sit amd study in peace. Apart from all these, there are clubs for almost every niche here, some noteable ones being photography, music, dance, mountaineering, maths, ai, gdsc, etc.
