The college is very strict in punctuation.
The college maintains a very well academic ambience.
Professors are very cooperative on the other hand.

Dislikes

The college doesn't offer you a social life.
In my opinion the fees is quite high and it gets increasing with time.
The University campus is not satisfactory, the campus is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview

Throughout my childhood, I wanted to pursue engineering in computer science. So, here I am. The University is having their staffs each one of them highly qualified from the renowned IITs across the globe, very well disciplined.

Internships Opportunities

The college will register you into websites so that you could take up your internships. It has very strict guideline that each student must complete at least one internship in a year. It should start from the very first year.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I was saying, I am still in my 1st year. Hence, I got as such no stipends. I'm engaging myself towards more into the atmosphere so as to get more internships. The college charges an average fees of 7.2 lakhs, i.e, a four year course.

Campus Life

The college conducts its tech fests throughout the year, and it's totally upon your free will whether you want to participate or not. The college conducts regular classes based on sports and yoga as well.

Admission

I got into the college through jee mains. I directly got application into the CSE department. The admission process was going on in the iem ashram building apart from uem. There were Mentors to guide you all The way.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-.
