discipline is the main thing there and they are very strict about it .

as it is under a gp named iem-uem so sometimes teacher cann't finish the syllabus.

The course curriculam is well design and well planed .Faculty members are well qualified and very supportive . The course offers extra subjects to prepare for the govt job exams .It also offers foreigion language to improve our communications in corporate market .

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for the 4 yr btech degree is 7 lakh which is about 85000 per semester . If you are a student of westbengal board you can avail a scholarship of 240000 which is name as SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP . You can also take loan from govt which is name as student credit card .The interest of the loan is very very low which you can pay after you get a job .

Campus Life

The most surprising thing is the campus . you can avail litarally anything you can expect in a collage . we have a space observatory which has a telescope on it's top . there was a garden infront of collage building and the classrooms are very airy .

Admission

There is an exam to get admission.The exam name is iemjee . Also you can get admission in basis of the result of wbjee,jee as well as HS result on an average minimum 75 % marks required to get admission

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
