Remarks

Eligibility- physics, chemistry and maths or biology in class 12th to get enrolled in B. Tech Students are admitted through Wbjee, jee or iemjee or direct admission. It would be better if you visit the campus and have a talk with the officials for admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had no other option but to choose this college as i am not getting any preferred branches in any of the nits. Student:faculty ratio is very bad. In each class there is 100 students. 2 Term exams are held in each semister along with the the main semester exam.. Level of these exams are easy to moderate.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is very bad as the senior told me. No companies visit the campus for internship. Mnay student opt for outside placement as the college placement is pretty low. You work on yourself without depending on the clg for job opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the cost is too much. Approximately 7.5 lakh is the course fee for the entire btech course. Svmcm or student credit card are the scholarship to avail for the student. Job scenario in the campus is bit low ranging in between 4-4.5 lakh per annum

Campus Life

College life is shit ????????????. There are many clubs and social groups like the pragya (quiz) and drama etc clubs. There is only a basketball court in which we are not allowed to play during games period. Irony.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. If u give the 10,000/- in advance then the seat will be booked for you and at the time of admission your money will be extracted from there.
