I choosed CSE as my course because in today's world technology is taking over everything and in this clutured market to get a well satisfied job.... I have to go on with the technology... So according to my will I choosed CSE as my course.... In these their sufficient amount of faculty for the students and guide them.. The faculties are highly qualified and have a good teaching method if anyone doesn't understand any topic then the faculty keeps on clarifying the doubts... The college conducts 2 exam per semester... One is the mid sem conducted 3 months after beginning of the semester and other is the end sem conducted at the end of the semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship are genuinely not offered by the college.... It is offered by clubs..... Like GDSC, Skepsis....For internship minimum of one project should be done by the students and should have a well maintained LinkedIn Account.

Genuinely the college provides 95% of placement to the students.... According to the skills developed by the students the company gives the salary.... TCS, Wipro, Infosys along with some other company and start up comes to the college for offering job..... Genuinely students starts internship from 3yr.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the market all the college have a avg fees structure of 7lakh although this college is also associated with AICTE which is pretty affordable.... College offers scholarship for students getting 85%in class 12th boards as well as there are various government scholarship given by the college.

Campus Life

The college is full of events... In the month of November there was a fest..... In the month of February there is a annual fest..... Along with it tech fest are also organised and tech clubs are also there to give opportunity about extra certification course and interership.... As per course we won't get sufficient amount of books in the library... Classrooms are good.... Along with studies there are sports competition between department and also between different colleges.

Hostel Facilities

Facility provided by the Sandree Homes Hostel is good as compared to the other hostel.... The food can be given a rating of 4/5.... But according to the hostel fees the facility is less.... I would prefer to shift to the pg.... And the details of hostel would be given by the college itself.

For getting admission into the college you have to give the entrance exam conducted by the college and get qualified for it or else if you already gave jee or wbjee examination then you don't have to give the entrance exam conducted by the college.For giving the entrance exam we can get the application form from the official website of the college ( https://snuniv.ac.in ).... Scholarship are also given for students getting above 85% in there 12th boards examination NOTE:- NO DONATION ARE TAKEN FOR GETTING ADMISSION INTO THE COLLEGE

A comprehensive review of MAKAUT , WB

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. The placements in our college is decent. The average salary package a student used to get from our college was around 4lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum. Mainly they used to bring non IT companies to the IT students. It was rare that IT companies used to comer in bulk.

Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Mainly mass recruiter companies like TCS, wipro, Infosys, cognizant comes here.Some top notch mncS like oracle,amazon, Microsoft also comes here .One senior of our previous batch got 1 cr Per annum in off campus way. Avg package is 10 lpa like . Jft and pst branch has full 100% placement. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in top notch mnc & work as SDE.

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
