Likes

Professor are so good, they never say no to our queries even in their break time also . Coding Culture is good and best is placement.
Placement is so good and I liked the most is that 95% students get placed.
Campus Life is good and the infrastructure is also good.

Dislikes

Small campus size and a bit strictness that I disliked but it is also for our development only so it is good for us only.

Faculty members is so good, and engaging they help us everytime. After the classes if we have some doubt we can go to the faculty members they can let us explain again. Course curriculum is upto date and very nice.

Placement record of this college is nice, as compared to other colleges in the city . This college provides best placement over the year. And it is increasing day by day. Many companies visit this college like, Infosys,TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and many more new startups etc. Nearly 95% students get placed. Average job offer is 2-3 per person. Highest Package offered Is 72 LPA and Average package is 5.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is bit high but for this opportunity and good curriculum it is worth it. Fee is 85000 per semester . Their is also some scholarship available like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship and their is also internal scholarship provide by the college for rankers.

Campus Life

Campus Life is good though it is a bit strict but that is for our development only . Their are many clubs like Astronomy, Coding Club, ACM etc. Social life is good as it is situated near the best part of Kolkata. Infrastructure is also good.

Admission

Admission is done through WBJEE rank or They have their own exam IEMJEE. Counseling is done through WBJEE counseling. Cutoff for CSE is 10000. Minimum marks in 12th to be eligible is 70% for admission in Computer Science branches.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
