My college life

Ram Lal Anand is among 72 prestigious colleges of delhi university. i think it has the best campus and faculty. Placement scenario could be improved along with alumni network.

I got admission in the year 2014 when Delhi University had merit based curriculum for admission. No entrance were conducted . I chose this college as it has the course i wanted to pursue.

The course is very popular and college rendered all the essential facilities. We did not require practical knowledge therefore no labs classes were conducted except for computer subject . But yes we did have a huge library which had enormous collection of the best books which helped a lot, as it provide assistance to the students.

Yes college did provide internships for various courses. I did not take any as I was busy in coaching classes for my master entrance.

WE had a placement cell in our college which needs registration before going to interviews. I did not apply for it as I wanted to study further. Yes, student from other courses got recruited in well established companies.

Nexplora , the annual fest is the highlight of the college and i think the best event of Delhi University one could get to see. And we have departmental fest too organised by team of students and teachers of respective departments. Freshers and Farewells are mandatory .

The fee structure is quite convenient . It differs from course to course. My course had 12-15 k fees yearly. Fee structure gets changed every year.

Yes, scholarship is provided to the meritorious student and to the ones belonging to weaker section of the class. i do not know about loan facility neither had ever heard about it from anyone.

we had annual day celebration every year and foundation day too was celebrated. Sports Day was the most awaiting event student considered. Many seminars were organised in which excellent speakers were called to enhance the personality and to introduce to the relating concepts of life .

No, I am delhiite so i did not avail any pg. My college neither render any hostel facility. But near by the college area one could get pg and flats easily.

I had not seen any pass out or former student coming to college neither I heard about alumni network as such.

Exams held semester wise. Within 3 years we had 6 semesters . Each semester had four papers . No i never found any issue time management during exams... because long before the date sheets were announced and we would given preparatory leaves before 2 weeks of the beginning of exams.

The teachers are qualified and supportive. Almost all of them had Ph.D . I personally loved the environment of the college and the way classes were held was phenomenal . We never had any difficulty in connecting with teachers. They made sure to complete the syllabus before exams . Assignments and class test were done in a planned manner.
