Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was interested in commerce. There are around 100 students in our class but only around 40 students come for classes. The teachers teaching level is average. Every 6 months semester exams are conducted.

Class Size: 115Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is quite low in comparison to other universities. There is scholarship exams as well. There are placement tests and interviews conducted by the college. The companies come in college only for placement purpose. Every semester fees is Rs 12000 excluding examination fees. The examination fees is around 1500 depending upon subjects.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Tatva conducted by Reverie. It is conducted in February. The tech fest is conducted by encrpyt in June. There are proper books and journals available in library which can be issued through ID card. There are sports trials for every sport and in extra curricular activities such as dance, fashion, singing and arts are conducted by other societies. Social societies such as Mercadeo, Comsoc, Eric, Teb and reverie are run by students.

Admission

CUET exam was conducted for the admission. At 730 marks out of 800 I got Bcom hons in college of vocational studies, Delhi university. Cuet samarth website is there for application form, application fees and application dates. Admission process should be simplified.

Daulat ram college through the eyes of drcians

Placement Experience:

From the 2nd year our internship is started and after 2nd year i.e, in the starting of 3rd year we are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies every year visit Daulat ram College for campus placement. Like:- Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ICICI, HDFC, DE Shaw, Amazon, and Zomato. I have CA in my mind after graduation.

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

In third year, the students become eligible for campus placements whereas there is a huge event named INCREMENTUM for job and internship fair wherein many HR mangers from companies and Non profit organisations like Cognizen Innovations, Pehchaan - The Street School, etc. takes interviews of interested students for internships as well as jobs.

My pov of college

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is quite good, from 2nd or 3rd year students are eligible. Deloitte visited recently. I'm not aware about this, placements cells are made in college who take care of all this. A good amount of students get place, approx 20 students were placed this tym in Deloitte. I will be continuing with ACCA only.

Course curriculum is as per Delhi University's official curriculum, so it's pretty good. But its very theoretical as well so if I would suggest an improvement it would be this to make the curriculum more real and practical life based rather than rote learning.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
