I like robotics that's why I chose the mechatronics course, the staff is excellent and every lecturer is highly qualified, for every three months you will have exams where the grading system is good and to pass the exam is easy.

Most of the companies offer internships with stipends ranging between 15k to 40k per month, it is the best chance for students to join the companies. However, the students should maintain a CG above 7 to get an internship.

In 3rd year you can get internships and placements with your CG, the top companies visit this college like Maruti Suzuki, zeolite, Accenture, hero, etc. The highest package is 50 LPA and the average is 6 LPA. Every year 95% of the students are placed.

Fees are a bit high per sem it costs 5 lakhs including tuition fees, hostel, mess, etc.there are so many scholarships they are offering, if you have CG above 8.5 you will get a scholarship and with income certificate you can get, etc.

There are so many fests in this college like Diwali night, Thapar food festival, etc. There are a lot of books you can find in the library almost 30k books. Sports are good in this college and there is an event for sports called Thaparlypics where anyone can participate, and there are so many social groups like Fateh, Urja, CCS, mudra, etc. almost 40clubs.

It is your choice to choose the hostel AC or none it's up to you l, you can find the best food than other colleges in mess the quality is good, registration for a hostel is easy and easy to afford Non AC rooms are bit cheap.
