Thapar at its best

I chose Mechanical Engineering as it is my interest. The faculty is very nice, gentle, and ready to help every student at any point in time. All the faculty have completed Ph. D.s from esteemed colleges and the methods of teaching are very nice as they use real-life applications that we use in our daily lives to explain topics.

I can't comment anything on this as im in the first year. But from what iv heard from students they get good opportunities for interns as well well-known companies take students in. For example data, oracle, amazon, etc.

I can't say anything regarding this on my own as im still in the first year. But according to what I heard the placement quality is very high and the companies that come in are known worldwide. Every student gets the job in their final years.

The fee hike depends upon the course, the better the course higher the fee structure. The best part of the fee structure is that it will remain the same for 4 years since admission. Thapar is very helpful and flexible with fee payment timings.

The annual fest is conducted during the start of the college and end of the college. The tech fests are conducted almost regularly. The library has 5 floors and is filled with books. Each book as least 7 to 8 copies so short of books is never a problem. The classrooms have all the necessary equipment that is required in a class. The sports sector is kept quite large.

The hostel rooms have all the necessary equipment that a normal room of a house has, AC, fan, window, plugs, bed, mattress, etc. The meal quality is very high and the menu is well planned and shuffled every week.

Eligibility of course 60 percent minimum in PCM. The admission process was easy as it was done all online. It took 2 to 3 weeks to receive the confirmation. Which was a little tense but the process is very smooth when it comes to admission.
