Campus was so maintained and good looking.
Extra curricular activities were organised regularly.

Mess food was average for the students and needed improvement.
Location of the college was quite stressful.
Not allowing non veg in the college was very disappointing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The professors were highly qualified and helpful in nature. They guided the students very well. Before getting admitted I got to know this much about the college. As for the curriculum, it was according to the guidelines. Everything in college was according to the college calander.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not too expensive as it is a government-funded college. As for the scholarship, it was having a great reputation among the company in that state. Many schemes were also provided by the govt for students to pay the fee.

Campus Life

The very joyful environment on the campus with lots of extracurricular activities. There were lots of different types of clubs to join and enhance your college experience. The library of the college is well maintained and a variety of books was also available for the students to read.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was good in infrastructure. They were divided according to the seniority of the students. Each hostel is provided with indoor games. And inter hostel tournaments were also organized to maintain the physical as well as metal health of the students.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

Admission to college was done through josaa counseling. Which is obviously after clearing jee the main examination. The cutoff for that year was about 85-80 for general candidates. After getting a seat in college, students have to verify the document in physical mode, and after each and each detail checking of the document they give the admission slip, after submitting the demand draft.

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Good and bad of chandigarh university.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
