Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category. The admission process was very simple. There is whole block just for admission. There are so many instructors who were there to help us to fill forms.

I chose computer science and engineering in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology because this is the one of the best course out their. Faculty and student ratio is around 1:100. Almost 90% of faculties are PhD holders. Rest of are M.tech holders. There is 2 quizzes, 1 minor and 1 end-sem exam. It is very easy to pass in all exam if study at least 1 hour a day.

This is tier 3 college so not so many companies visit here to hire a intern but somehow you can get internship via refferal. On campus there are some local companies visit to hire intern but in my opinion this is waste of time. You should prepare for off campus internship.

In 7th and 8th semester you become eligible for campus placements. This is tier 3 college so you can expect to google to visit it but some big companies like adobe, wipro, tcs etc often visit. The highest package is around 15 lac. And average is around 6 lac. Almost 90 to 95 % get placed . My plan is to start a start-up called apnapali.

Sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology is cheaper than most of colleges in India. It cost around 30,000 per semester plus 3,000 hostel fee. There are lots of scholarship programs available in the college. Even there is special brach to help student to get scholarship.

Sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology organization a ton of cultural and technical fest. Madhuram is one of the biggest cultural fest at the college. There is a big tech fest as well every year. It's so much fun. There is big library in the college a nice place to study full A.C. Classrooms are quite big and comfortable. There is very nice classroom for practical.

In 1st and 2nd year you have 2 roommates but room is quite big so there is no problem of space at all. In 3rd and 4th year you will get your own room. Meal quality is so good, I must say khir puri is the best meal of the college. At the time of admission you will also get room in your Hostel which cost you 6000 a year. You can't rent a room or PG.

To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology you have pass entrance exam. You have to get at least 130 marks in exam if you are in general category. I prepared for my entrance exam in kota. I spent 1 year in kota to clear the exam
