Campus. The campus is best part of college

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it is the flagship course of this college. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10 and it is good amongst the other B-School. The professors are highly qualified and they use hybrid methods to teach. The schedule of the academic year is made in initial month and is strictly followed.

Class Size: 380Course Fees: INR 850000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the students got an offer and the stipend is not aware to us as it is confidential data. The highest was 3.5 Lakhs and the lowest was 50,000. The companies made the offer in the month of September and last offer was made in December

Placement Experience

The students get eligible after 1st trimester for internship placements and for final placements, they start in 4th trimester. There were about 110 companies who visited and made 380 offers. There is 100% placement in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is informed before starting of the term and there is no scholarship from the college side. There is 100% placement and the median salary is 20 lakhs per annum. There are approximately 110 companies on campus

Campus Life

Life at the campus is vibrant and engaging with a thriving social scene. Numerous clubs and activities cater to diverse interests, with excellent infrastructure that supports academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Hostel Facilities

We have been provided with the twin sharing room accommodation. The hostel is inside the campus and is 10 mins walk from the academic block and 5 mins walk from Mess. The messy food is up to the mark and has variety for all the days in a week.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. The interview happened online and all the documentation was done online. I dont think there is any improvement required. The details regarding the application form, and fees structure are there on the website

Interview Experience

The topics covered in group discussions varied but commonly included current affairs, social issues, and industry-related subjects. Interview questions focused on candidates' qualifications, experience, experience, problem- solving abilities.

SIMER: A first batch student's Journey and how it became a Launchpad for my career

Placement Experience:

We were appearing for the placement process from the 4th Semester, however, our batch was being prepared for the placement process from day 1. The first placement process that I appeared for was for Shriram Transport Finance in feb 2008. A few common recruiters who came for our batch were HDFC Bank, Shriram Transport Finance, CIPLA, Naukri.com, Indiabulls Vandana Ispat etc. One of the offers that I had from HDFC bank and the CTC offered b HDFC bank was 300000. Our complete batch was having a offer , some of us had 1 offer and some of us had many , I had offer from India Bulls, Shriram transport Finance and HDFC Bank I joined HDFC bank after getting my degree.

SIMER- a journey to remember

Placement Experience:

In first year for internship program college only provide us opportunities. I got selected in three different companies for summer internship program which was paid. Then for final placement we experienced best support from placement cell. There was 25 companies for 60 students. I got selected for 5 different companies. I joined the best one.

Remarks:

Everybody planning of doing PGDM in chattisgarh should definitely visit campus & should interact with the faculties & know about the process. In the package of approximately 2 lakhs it is the best institute providing PGDM with personality Development & everything

Eligibility of course is depend on your CAT percentile and your past experience and academics. You can find application form in IIM website and application fees is 1200 and date would be in August to October. Reservation is based on caste and physical condition. IIM Raipur in nutshell

Admission through CAT MBA Entrance Exam followed by GDPI. There are different cut-off lists declared on the basis of category reservation. For example, the highest cut off like in my case will always be for general engineer males followed by general engineer females and so on.
