Course Curriculum Overview

I was not from the bba background still I chose Finance and accounting as my majors and was able tp comprehend in after some amout of time. Real world relevance of the learnings happenned and practical life experience were given.

Fees and Financial Aid

IIM Raipur provides it's flagship course MBA. The average fees is 1800000 for full course. There are 100 percent summer placement as well as final placement. You can take admission after clearing your CAT examination. Campus life is equally hectic as academic.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. Clubs and committees are much more enganging activities and campus infratructure is also very good to support all the activities. Books and journals all thing were available and databases.

Hostel Facilities

200000 you can expect to spend for two year for your. room were clearned on everyday bases. Separate bathroom and single occupancy were the most important thing for me to consider before choosing any college. meal were very good all things.

Admission

RANING OF THIS COLLEGE was really good. NIRF rankig was 14 at that time when I was enterning the college. placement was one of the main thing that I was considering and home location was near that is why I chose IIM

Faculty

Faculties were really good at their teaching skills. Practical as well as classroom learning were equally promoted. 1 faculty for 70 student. Relative grading system were used by the university of iim raipur.

SIMER: A first batch student's Journey and how it became a Launchpad for my career

Placement Experience:

We were appearing for the placement process from the 4th Semester, however, our batch was being prepared for the placement process from day 1. The first placement process that I appeared for was for Shriram Transport Finance in feb 2008. A few common recruiters who came for our batch were HDFC Bank, Shriram Transport Finance, CIPLA, Naukri.com, Indiabulls Vandana Ispat etc. One of the offers that I had from HDFC bank and the CTC offered b HDFC bank was 300000. Our complete batch was having a offer , some of us had 1 offer and some of us had many , I had offer from India Bulls, Shriram transport Finance and HDFC Bank I joined HDFC bank after getting my degree.

SIMER- a journey to remember

Placement Experience:

In first year for internship program college only provide us opportunities. I got selected in three different companies for summer internship program which was paid. Then for final placement we experienced best support from placement cell. There was 25 companies for 60 students. I got selected for 5 different companies. I joined the best one.

Under state quota, he has to appear for an online counselling that is conducted by directorate of technical education, Chhattisgarh and to apply under management quota, student has to qualify any of MBA entrance examinations. Remarks:

Everybody planning of doing PGDM in chattisgarh should definitely visit campus & should interact with the faculties & know about the process. In the package of approximately 2 lakhs it is the best institute providing PGDM with personality Development & everything

Eligibility of course is depend on your CAT percentile and your past experience and academics. You can find application form in IIM website and application fees is 1200 and date would be in August to October. Reservation is based on caste and physical condition. IIM Raipur's admission process includes: PGP Eligibility : Bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks dot cad score with specific sectional and overall percentile cut offs are required Application :Register and apply through CAT .Keep a copy of application in payment receipt. IIM Raipur in nutshell

Admission through CAT MBA Entrance Exam followed by GDPI. There are different cut-off lists declared on the basis of category reservation. For example, the highest cut off like in my case will always be for general engineer males followed by general engineer females and so on.
