Course Curriculum Overview

Every courses are having specific labs like for journalism and media courses a media lab is there, for b.tech, biotech lab is there. Also there are many other labs like chemistry lab, computer lab, physics lab, civil engineering lab, mechanical engineering lab, etc.

Placement Experience

Yes, our college provides internship and a good placement drives in very reputed companies like ITC, ZOMATO, SWIGGY, IDFC BANK, JARO EDUCATION, etc. With a good stipend. Generally all the undergraduate students and postgraduate students both are allowed to sit in the placement cell.

College Events

Amispark is the biggest event of the university which almost cover the techincal events, cultural events. Also evey year Sangathan a sports event is organised. Also every year a photogrsphy workshop is organised by the students of the journalism si ghat it increases the interest in the students to know more about the camera and photography.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel ambience is very good. According to the courses and specialisation students are grouped and then room is allotted. Each room is having a separate washrooms and changing rooms. Both boys and girls are having separate hostels each having a warden.

The first and the foremost thing to take admission in amity university is the quality education. Second thing is a good placement drives. Third is the good ambience. Highly qualified with PhD holders faculties with 24×7 available to clear the doubts. Many faculties are friendly as well as strict in nature which helps the student to connect with them easily. Faculties are highly equipped and very well trained regarding the use of specific labs.

SIMER: A first batch student's Journey and how it became a Launchpad for my career

Placement Experience:

We were appearing for the placement process from the 4th Semester, however, our batch was being prepared for the placement process from day 1. The first placement process that I appeared for was for Shriram Transport Finance in feb 2008. A few common recruiters who came for our batch were HDFC Bank, Shriram Transport Finance, CIPLA, Naukri.com, Indiabulls Vandana Ispat etc. One of the offers that I had from HDFC bank and the CTC offered b HDFC bank was 300000. Our complete batch was having a offer , some of us had 1 offer and some of us had many , I had offer from India Bulls, Shriram transport Finance and HDFC Bank I joined HDFC bank after getting my degree.

SIMER- a journey to remember

Placement Experience:

In first year for internship program college only provide us opportunities. I got selected in three different companies for summer internship program which was paid. Then for final placement we experienced best support from placement cell. There was 25 companies for 60 students. I got selected for 5 different companies. I joined the best one.

Admission:

Our CAT interview process is IIM and I am giving you about the IIM Trichy Chennai campus. So we went there and the hospitality very good. And initially, there was one person, he verifies all the documents. And then we went to for CAT exam and were given with pen and paper. We were asked to write on paper and after waiting for a while, they were calling per person one by one. The interview happens in about 15-20 minutes. The interview was started with the basic questions, tell me about yourself? And then they briefly bring to my file, college projects and some business idea. And they asked about my hobbies and even I danced in my interview. That was the funniest part of the interview. Finally, they asked me about the current scenario and I was quite confident about all my answers. I was pretty sure that I would convert all the points.

IIM Raipur Review

Remarks:

The first thing I got attracted to this college is, among the new IIMs it really performs well in the case of placement and in terms of studies, in that way I think IIM Raipur is doing great. Being an MBA grad getting the corporation demos online that how can we get exposed to software and its features. I opted for this college over others because of the placement report of last year and also I live in Bhopal so it will be convenient to travel.

So, Raipur was head in terms of low fees, low educational fees, facilities wise a permanent campus. It had a good ratio of students is to faculty and even I had a few reviews so I had a few alumnis from my undergraduate college who were in Raipur and I spoke to them so they gave pretty good feedback about the college or his college and then I also had spoken to other people from other colleges from my undergraduate institutes. So I did a comparison and I meet a matric comparison, so I came to the decision and went into the Raipur.

A Brief Review: Amity University Raipur

It was the time of pandemic when I took admission here at Amity. At the time, there was no as such crietria for taking an admission as there were very few students who applied for the B.A. Mass Communication and Journalism course. We only had 26 students in our batch so you can assume that there was no criteria as such. For taking admission, I visited Amity Raipur's website where I put my information and the admission department called me instantly as soon as I registered my contact details in their website. There was no such application during the time of admission. The exams were easy to appear for.
