- The atmosphere for female student and faculty was very safe, no unlikely behavior was accepted. the sports fest and annual college fest happens every year and with very strict security. the campus did not support any kind of illegal substance.
Dislikes
- the books at library were limited 5 student copy per book was available for students, the need was to have more copies at least 10 for studentds
- need of more space at canteen was required.
- the students parking did not have any shed it was open, so our cars use to heat up in summers a lot, this was a serious problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
One of the main reasons I chose this course was its well-established syllabus, offering a strong foundation in both theoretical and procedural law. The course planning was very well done in a way that the fresher starts to understand the basic structure of law, its establishment, and legal vocabulary building.
Internships Opportunities
Every year, students have to do a minimum of 4 weeks of internship. The internships provided by the universities are good and pretty average. The minimum salary they provide is Rs. 10,000 per month. I never took an internship from the university as I want to practice in court, not in a firm.
Placement Experience
Every year, good law firms from tier 1 and 2 classes and corporate companies take placements from our college. The students become eligible for placement from the 9th semester itself. In my batch, every student who registered for placement got placed in a law firm. I didn't opt for placement as I have other plans of doing a Master's further after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
my college does not provide details of the fees specifically; they include everything in the tuition fee and show it on our portal. they do provide scholarships based on our percentage or CGPA, 25% for 70% marks above and a 50% scholarship on the fee on 85% and marks above.
Campus Life
The social life in campus is very great, as some or the other events happen every month. As there are so many departments, schools like law school, architecture school, business school, etc every school or department organises some or any event every month, which creates an opportunity for every student to socialise. the major events organised by the uni. are an annual fest called AMispark, and an annual sports fest called SANGATHAN.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provides many amenities like a mess facility, laundry services, and a nurse available 24/7. The mess changes its menu every month. the food is average, the mess focuses mainly on cleanliness and quality. there are food trucks and a canteen on campus open till 9:00 p.m. Students can register for a hostel while taking admission in the form that they want to avail hostel.
Admission
I only applied for this college as it is a big University and, compared to all other colleges in Chhattisgarh, it is the best one as no other college provides exposure like this one. so if a student who was unable to clear the CLAT exam and go to NLU, then this university is the best private option to choose. This University is really serious about the students' academics and learning, unlike other colleges, as I heard while taking admission here.
Faculty
The faculties at the university were very supportive; every student had a personal mentor for their class, other than faculty, so if the student could not complain to their faculty, they could reach out to their mentor whenever needed. Every month, we had a mentor-mentee meeting, and the meetings were taken very seriously. The exams were a lot to have as every semester
Night Life
The nightlife on campus is very happening; girls are allowed out at night till 9:30 p.m. and boys till 10:00 p.m. After that, the hostel gates close. There is a gym in the hostel, and many playing courts. No student is allowed to go outside the campus gate without out pass and permission. During weekends, students can visit multiple areas nearby, like the mall, go-karting, restaurants, and many other fun places nearby.
