I'm glad to help others

I'm pursuing law from guru ghasidas vishwavidyalaya, bilaspur. It's a central university. I wanted to become a lawyer and I'm also the first generation lawyer in my family . I wanted to help the needy by not providing them food or clothes but by providing them the most important thing.. justice , so I decided to become a lawyer.

Actually I'm not sure about about the internship. But the college or the faculty tells us about the various internship opportunities available and motivate us to apply for them. They get to know us about any kind of internship that can be beneficial for us.

Recently guru ghasidas vishwavidyalaya got A++ naac ranking. So it shoul affect the placement of the university. It can be increased. Current average placement of 500000( 5 lakh ) per annum approximately but it can vary according to the department.. approx 70% students get placement.i wanted to join a firm and start practicing advocacy.

Most Central University provide courses with affordable price. About the law department, I guess it has the lowest fees like 6-7k per semester. Hostels are also available and annual fee for hostel is approx 12 k. Hostels are too good. Tv room, too good food,etc.

If you are fest person then just go for it. Guru ghasidas vishwavidyalaya is famous for its pre holi festival.it is generally held a week before holi. University organise a lot of fest. Recent was a music fest and it was also informative.. it was organised to motivate students to vote. It also has a huge library and it's a common Library for all .all departments have their own library. All kinds off book are available. Various groups or society are formed by the students. I'm also a member of legal aid society.

Hostels are available but there are limited seats. Only a few students can get hostels. you have to apply for hostel by filling a form given by the university and the selection is on the merit basis. Avg. Fees of hostel is 12 k per annum. There are also a lot off affordable pg and room near the clg. I don't have to struggle for finding a room. Rooms there are affordable. Most of the students live in river view colony, koni near the university.

To enroll in the guru ghasidas vishwavidyalaya, one must have given cuet . For the course BALLB , compulsory subject in cuet are English, legal studies and general test. Marks of general test were considered for the admission in ballb but this year there is a change, both legal English and general test marks are being considered for enterance. Last year cut off was approx 180+ for general test.this year this may change...

I'm a student of law department an in our present HOD is sudhanshu mahapatra. He is too good have proper control on the faculty and the department. All faculty of law department are highly educated and some of the them are PhD students but they are just for 1st year students.
