Remarks
The first thing I got attracted to this college is, among the new IIMs it really performs well in the case of placement and in terms of studies, in that way I think IIM Raipur is doing great. Being an MBA grad getting the corporation demos online that how can we get exposed to software and its features. I opted for this college over others because of the placement report of last year and also I live in Bhopal so it will be convenient to travel.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 3 terms in 1st year and in each term we have 6 to 7 subjects depending on the credit and half-credit courses and the evaluation criteria are like quizzes, presentations, mid-term, end-term for 3 months. Courses are based on case studies and discussions on them. My favorite faculty is the madam from business communication. Faculties are way too cooperative, their way of teaching is good, they do understand our problems what we face especially in the current scenario as we are not at the campus but we are at the home right now so we do get problems while interacting through the screen, also thy conduct various sessions to get acquainted with the courses.
Placement Experience
As of now, I don't think I can reveal placement information like salary packages and company names as I need permission from the placement committee.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I don't know much about the scholarships as I am not eligible for them but the fee structure for MBA is INR 15 -16 lakhs and it includes hostel, mess, library, and academic fees.
Campus Life
I have not seen my college campus yet as classes are going through online but I can give you a brief about clubs and committees. There are 13 clubs and committees in total. The college has clubs like Finance club, Marketing club, Ops club, Consulting club, Cultural Event club, Sports club, Pravakta club (for debates and speeches), Kartabya club (for social activities), Prakriti club (for ecological aspects), and in committees, there are Admission committee, SAC (Students Attend Committee), Placement committee, etc.
Hostel Facilities
No idea about the hostel as we are at home taking classes online.
Admission
In CAP GD part has been removed and they have introduced a VAT test that is basically a written assessment test for 15 minutes where they give a topic and we have to write our opinion and my topic was on Surrogate Advertisement. There were three to four moderators for the VAT test. For the VAT test, you need to be prepared with current affairs that will definitely help. CAP interview happens in two slots that are in morning and afternoon sessions. There were two-panel members in the interview. As I was a fresher, they asked mostly about my course curriculum that was about economics (like GDP, indifference curve, different goods, how covid affected Indian economy), and some general knowledge questions. The CAP team fixed the venue for me and the venue was Rajendra Palace in Delhi, so I went there.
