Bcoz of its NIRF ranking and it's academic excellence. Faculty student ratio is 1:8. Qualification of faculty would be very good and all the facilities did ph.d from premium institute. Term exams happen in very 3 months.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities is there and majority of roles offered in sales and marketing domain because 60% batch are freshers and stipend is depend on the companies.it may vary a lot depending upon the role they offered.

Placement Experience

It's quite okaish according to the marketing situation. I can't disclose the company who came but companies include FMCG, finance, consultant were there. And I am in first year so I don't know much about final placement. Highest package in summer internship is 1.6 per months

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

20% fees hike in every year. I don't get any scholarship. Internship opportunities are there but I have not get it yet. Fees structure is 17 lakhs and it would be paid in every semester with 2.5 lakhs approx in every 3 months

Campus Life

The MBA life is full of academic rigorour and co curricular activities. There will be lot of activities going on throughout the day except regular classes. Clubs and committee activities are all student driven and every committee has fixed number of events to organise. The library in the campus is accessible 24*7 and online access is also given to vast number of journals and research papers. Apart from this one gets access to all kinds of newspapers and magazines across the globe. Academic building have high speed wifi facility and all the lectures are delivered by the faculty through power point presentation. Talking about the sports facility, our campus have badminton court, table tennis, lawn tennis, squash, swimming pool, gym, yoga room, basketball court, volleyball court.

Hostel Facilities

Dual sharing rooms are provided from this year. Attached washroom is there along with every room. AC is not available but radiant cooling system is provided. It is mandatory for everyone to seek accommodation it the campus hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of course is depend on your CAT percentile and your past experience and academics. You can find application form in IIM website and application fees is 1200 and date would be in August to October. Reservation is based on caste and physical condition. Obc, sc, st have different criteria for admission and have different cutoff percentile. No I don't want any improvement.

Interview Experience

CAP round interview was online in the year 2023. So there was no group discussion or written ability test like it used to happen in previous years. Only interview was taken and it was a single round interview

IM Raipur's placements are highly commendable with students becoming eligible for campus placement in their final year.The institute witnesses extensive participation from over 100 companies across various sectors prominent recruiters like Bosch, BMW, Deloitte Gail, ICICI kpmg offering roles in diverse domains like analytics, consulting, finance, sales and marketing, The placement statistics showcase impressive figures .The highest domestic ctc offered in 2023 was 43 .43 lpa with an average of 21 .04 lpa. These figures highlight the institute's strong industry connections and the highly employability of its graduate . College remarkably 100 % of the students registered for placement secure jobs indicating the effectiveness of placement cell. For students at IIM Raipur the placement process opens doors numerous opportunities across the different sectors.

After 3rd trimester (1st year), right after our summer placements we become eligible for final placements. There are a lot of companies (100+) that come to the campus and all the students get placed. My plan is to work in the corporate for the next 10 years and then switch to building my own firm.

There is the opportunity for a paid internship of 5 months for the students of MBA and the university does provide interview opportunities with the following companies: GPI, 24seven, Colorbar, Modicare, and Augtech Nextwealth. I got the paid internship opportunity at 24 seven with a stipend of 15000 per month in Delhi.

Remarks:

My master's journey at the ICFAI was not what I expected, but it was a good endeavor, nevertheless. The college has a good placement record from which I benefitted. Teaching is also good. ICFAI is definitely a good choice for masters at a reasonable price in the Raipur region.

Admission in IIM Raipur is offered after one has appeared in the CAT examination which is held in November. Once the results are declared and the candidates who had opted for the college would be receiving a call from the college under the combined interview process known as CAP interview. The criteria for getting a call for CAP interviews are solely based on the CAT percentile score. For general candidates it is above the 92 percentile, for EWS its 70 percentile for NC-OBC its 74 percentile and SC ST students it's around the 50 percentile. I appeared for CAT, which is the primary and compulsory step to be eligible for admission to any IIM. Post which you get your cat percentile and based on the sectional cutoffs(given on the website) you receive a primary shortlist for further admission process(PI) After that, you have to appear for PI and post a composite score calculated based on your profile (gender/education background/workex/any achievement, etc ) + CAT percentile+ PI score to give admission offers to applicants. All graduates in any stream recognised by the government are eligible to appear and take admitted to IIM RAIPUR. You only need to fill out the CAT form available on the website of IIM hosting the cat for that year. Reservation cutoff and benefits are mentioned on the website and their criteria. Some improvement I would like to suggest is to streamline the entire process of onboarding the students and releasing offers.
