Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this because it sector has many job opportunities, and there is great career option in this field. The faculty is good in everything, they understand students as well Ph.D.-qualified professors are also there and they are friendly too. Assignments, quizzes, minor exams, and major exams from time to time are taken which help students.

Internships Opportunities

Students get placed in companies like jio, Bharat Motors, Mahindra, and many more MNCs. Students also have to make minor and major projects also to improve their working skills and many more things, staff evaluates the student's project work on the basis of their work.

Placement Experience

Students are also eligible for job opportunities in diploma time, some students continue their studies. some choose to get a job as well, training and placement cell helps the students for getting placement in companies. The highest package of last year's computer science BE is 18.4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is reasonable compared to other colleges. Other government colleges have more fee structures. Sliet as compared to others is good. The college also helps in getting internships, and training. The college has seperate training and placement cell which helps students.

Campus Life

The campus is very nature friendly. There are many trees and animals. Many activities are also organized in college like Tech-fest, Madhuram, and many more. There is a central library where can study and take books to study. There is also a seperate study hall which is for students to go get their work done and learn more. Sports activities are also provided. Musical instruments are also provided. For social networks, different clubs are made like a happy club, dc(slight software development club).

Admission

I have got the admission to BE of Computer Science after the entrance exam of lateral entry. Eligibility of course is 3 year's diploma in computer science or electronics or electrical. The application forms will be available on the website site.ac.in application fee is also submitted online and dates are also announced on the website, the candidate got their login I'd and got updates. Sorry, I have not availed of any reservation benefit. Nothing much improvement is needed just the admission process is lengthy someway.

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
