Likes

College campus is so greenary and larger.
Every faculties members are supportive and helpful .
Placement opportunities are good for every branches.

Dislikes

In hostel wifi is limited to 1GB for all the students.
In all the hostels there is not a CCTV cameras.
House keeping staffs of hostel is quite rude.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did choose this course because I have an interest in core engineering and here faculties are also so helpful and knowledgeable most of the faculty are doing their master's and doctoral from various IITs. Every 30 students have one faculty to teach them.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

For Campus placement, students are eligible from the 7th semester and placement is also very good highest package for this year from the Mechanical dept is 9Lakhs from JSW and the average package is 400000 about 70% of students are placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is so favorable for Lower Middle-class families like 35K for sem including hostel fees and 3000pm for mess fees. There scholarship of Post a metric scholarship for Bihar resident students.

Campus Life

Annual fest in our college is Techfest, Madhurima, and Social Fest. There is a central library in our college where a variety of books are available in about more than a lakh books. Classrooms are also very good also more than 10 smart classrooms on the college campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel quality is very good and meals in the mess are also very good. In our college 10 boys' hostels and 4 hostels for girls. There is also a PG about a distance of 700m from my college campus which is at an affordable price.

Hostel Fee: INR 3000 per year

Admission

I had done Diploma in Engineering and after this, I Got into this college via Lateral Entry the entrance exam is quite hard but cut-off marks are so high so many students clear it. In 150 Marks cut-off is about 60.

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. Teachers should be more friendly and try to undertsand the students's prospective also and not rush the syllabus we have our exams every regular month (STs and evaluations and end terms)

I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
