Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed for students for a comprehensive understanding. It includes practical as well as theoretical knowledge. I choose this course personally because I loved to study this subject and was also aware of the reputation of the college. Faculty students ratio is 1:15. Faculty have a PhD as their qualification. Their methods include group discussions and tutorials. Exams are held in the month of May and are fair and well-timed.
Internships Opportunities
We got internships also although I did not go for one we do have campus placements that provide jobs with decent packages. We also had people from UKEIRI and other programs who got to interact with students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite reasonable and affordable. For undergraduates, it is 8,000 to 10,000. and for postgraduate courses, it reaches 15,000 to 20,000. The college has a number of campus jobs available to them, they are part and full-time jobs. The fee hike is according to inflation rates, which is 5%. The college avails a number of scholarships to students although I did not avail one. The stipend paid me 10,000.
Campus Life
Life on campus was great and we had a fest called Rhapsody. It is held in the month of February. Yes, there is availability of books and journals in the library. Has a collection of more than 1,00,000 books. one of the oldest and largest libraries of Delhi University. Our fest is a two-day event. Classrooms have got basic amenities like table chairs and projectors and all. white and blackboards. Sports at our college are: Basketball, Football, Tennis, volleyball, etc. We have a lot of clubs and societies, like enacts and drama society, etc.
Admission
The admission process is based on CUET, (Common University Entrance Test), which is a national-level test conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). You can find the application form on the NTA website, the fee for which will be 650 Rs for General Category students, 350 for SC/ST, and 150 for PwD. Application dates are usually announced in the month of February. it also has reservation facilities for the students. The application should be made more user-friendly, fees should be reduced for SC/ST and PwD candidates, and the admission process should be made easy for rural candidate students.
