Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty here is very supportive if you want to grow they will support you in every possible manner. Here every faculty is above PhD or pursuing a PhD. The examination is on time only as it happen in May and another in Dec.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Free structure is affordable and since it is gov funded college so it is cheap as compared to private colleges. Here you can also have many scholarship and TFW (tution fee Waiver) programs through which students get benefitted.

Campus Life

The Campus life is great as we enjoy a lot as there to enjoy you can hang out with your friends at the lake area, the greenery campus which feels something like fresh air and a small heaven where we can sit and feel nature. wonder at Complex, Chahal etc.

Admission

I get admission here after the 10th for a diploma in CSE. So I gave at that time the SET-I ( SLIET Entrance Test) which I have to go through the process of SET exam and on a rank basis, I get selected and then fill out the desired trade want to opt then on the rank basis they provide you with your desired 1st or 2nd Choices. Similarly in BE for admission in 3rd sem, you have to go through Entrance Test and a similar process

Interview Experience

It was very simple i don't have to face any group discussion and interview. For admission i just have to do one Enterance Test and physical documents verification. They given us the date and all to be present at that day and do physical documents verification.

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in this college in this college previous year average package was 9 lakhs 50 thousand and highest package was 60 lakhs but in this college number of students are very high so competition also increases.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
