Course Curriculum Overview
Being a commerce enthusiast, choosing B.Com(Hons) wasn't a surprise. The faculty at DDUC is knowledgeable as well as experienced. Their teaching methods are mostly traditional but very interactive. As for exams, it wasn't difficult to pass (with respect to my course) and the exams are conducted smoothly.
Internships Opportunities
Various high-end companies come to the college to hire interns and do pay a fair amount of stipend depending on the job profile and the candidate's capabilities. There's always diversity in the profiles offered.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are provided to the final year students for various salary levels and profiles. A good population of students planning on further studies does not apply for placements but those who do, get a fair opportunity to crack a company after various selection rounds.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is about 16000 annually and fee concessions and scholarships are provided to financially weak students. Internship and placement opportunities are provided by the placement cell on a regular basis, and the Internships are mostly stipend based only.
Campus Life
Life on campus is more or less fun. You definitely do need people to hang out and enjoy the campus with. There's an indoor badminton court along with TT tables. An outdoor basketball court was recently built on campus. There is a plethora of societies in which you can part and explore various stuff.
Admission
This college is one of the best colleges in DU with respect to course curriculum as well as placements. As for the campus infrastructure, the classrooms are air-conditioned and the building provides lifts to access the classrooms. Teachers are knowledgeable, and experienced and tend to have doubts when reached out.
