Likes

Infrastructure is well built and maintained. Classrooms, labs, seminar hall, sports field, etc is well equipped.
Faculty is regular and is highly qualified. Classes
Campus life is buzzling with student groups and societies. Enactus being the most active of all. The environment fosters development and provides exposure.

Dislikes

No auditorium. Despite spectacular infrastructure, the college lacks an auditorium. The auditorium is in construction for eternity.
Canteen food is disgusting and unhygienic. The food is overpriced and not at all tasty.
Toilets are not very clean and there are only 3 toilet areas for women in the entire campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is sharp and very disciplined. Their way of teaching is excellent. I was interested in Commerce and chose BCom Hons as a course. Faculty to student ratio is very high. There is a requirement for more staff members. All faculty is well qualified.

Internships Opportunities

Internship packages are very lucrative. Internships are offered in companies like PhysicsWalla, Stanza Living, DeltaX, and more. Packages vary from 5k to 15k a month. Opportunities are both WFH and remote.

Placement Experience

Yes, the placement cell is very active. Placements are offered to final-year students. Big Four: PWC, EY, KPMG, and Deloitte offer placements along with other recruiters like DE Shaw, Trevista, and more. The majority of students sitting for placements get placed. The highest package is 21.5 Lakhs per annum. I've been placed at EY in an internal audit.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for my course is 12000 Rs per annum. Multiple scholarship schemes are available for meritorious students and the underprivileged. I received a placement at Ernst and Young for a stipend of 35000 Rs per month.

Campus Life

Campus life is very open and there is a lot of exposure in the form of college societies, events, a well-stocked library, the annual fest: TIDE, projectors, digitally equipped classrooms, computer labs, and a seminar hall. Sports are taken care of by the college with basketball, table tennis, football, etc.

Admission

The process was smooth. Everything was coordinated through the DU portal online. No entrance exam in 2020. The portal opens after cutoffs are released. The application fee was very small. Reservation benefits are available but I was from the General category.

Final year students get eligible for placements. Mahindra,EY,Bain and company, zomato and others Highest package was around 30LPA Average is 5LPA Profiles are mostly data analysis, business development and others. WHY SHOULD OPT FOR DU COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject.The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management,ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable

All about ARSD.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons. My Experience at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College

I applied for all colleges in Delhi University. I got accepted into Delhi college of arts and Commerce, and then later got upgrade to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College. I did not apply to any other university. I wanted to get selected into a North Campus college, but my score was not enough for it. The only way to get admitted into a delhi University college is through CUET, in which I scored 815/1000 (96.5%ile) after which I got admitted into ARSD. My growth journey in ARSD

I chose Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College because of its academic reputation and mainly its nirf ranking . Compared to other colleges i applied to, ARSD offered a abetter academic environment and experienced faculty. I applied to other colleges such as Hindu, Hansraj and Kirori Mal college but but admission confirmation came only from ARSD mainly due to high competition and high cutoff in CUET UG where even a minute difference in exams create a change in the seat allocation.
