I took GATE exam conducted by IIT, Kharagpur (GATE is conducted every year by IITs) I scored 30.3. I tried NITs, but I didn't get. After that I opted RV College, because it is the top among the engineering colleges in Karnataka.

We had an internship program for four months. I did it in Aren Matrix in Bengaluru. In the span of four months, I was trained on different Structural analysis and design softwares like Staad Pro and E-tabs. And I worked on some live projects which includes design of structures, industrial Layout planning for Volvo motors, design of cross passage for BMRCL and other projects.

Placement in the R V College is best among other colleges in Karnataka. Popular companies are Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Infosys, Vipro, Samsung etc. and in Civil Engineering, L&T which offers a package of 3 to 4 lakh per annum and ATKINS which offers 4 to 5 lakh per annum, Brigade developers (3 lakh per annum), Sobha developers and others.

Every year, a feast called 8th Mile is celebrated. It is a grand cultural event. And I was one of the organisers in 2015. Apart from it, in Civil Engineering department, Concrete fair is held every year which is a technical event. Apart from this, sports event will be held for both faculty and students.

The fee is little expensive where in ninety thousand is paid per year for the two years M Tech program. Apart from this fee, exam fee of 1000 Rs is paid per semester.

Since I am a GATE scholar, I'm being provided with a stipend of Rs.8000 per month. Other scholarships are given by the college and college do not provide any loan facilities, but they aid students in getting loans from nationalized banks.

Gender equality and religious equality is given more preference in the college campus. The student organization in the college takes up social events like blood donation camps, social awareness programmes. The college committee is in good economic status and they are investing in improving the college amenities every year.

The college has an alumni association and the members of the association visit the college every year and they discuss with the college committee about different issues and help in improving the college. And also they refer many companies for campus recruitment.

Exams will be conducted for every semester. It will be for 150 marks (including 50marks for internals). It was cool as we were taught well and assignments were given frequently. The result was good.
