Remarks

You can get admitted in this by giving WBJEE and JEE main exams. This college conducts an exam named IEMJEE, you can get into UEM by passing that exam. You can apply offline by going to any of the buildings of IEM or UEM which are situated in salt lake and new Town. There are no reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview

UEM will put pressure on your academics. We will have at least one exam every two months for sure. The faculty-student ratio is not good sometimes in a classroom there will be 3 to 4 teachers and almost 250 students in practical classes. faculties are mostly good qualified. The term exams will be there every two months as I said earlier but it is not that hard to pass. If you study a little you will be able to pass. They do give marks.

Placement Experience

UEM does give campus placement and it is very good for a tier 3 college. we will be having a job in your final year. almost every student gets one or more than one job. the give a lot of opportunities to gram job. the average package in 4.5 LPA in 2022 batch and highest package was 72 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees will be what they will tell in starting it will not increase it will be the same. for a new batch, it increases a bit as I hard. If you have more than 90% and if you can score a CGPA over 9 you will get a decent scholarship. Our campus placement is very good from a tier 3 college perspective. Almost every student has one or more than one job in their pocket when they leave college. They give tons of opportunities to grab a job.

Campus Life

The name of our annual fest is ECTASIA and the tech fest is URECON both of them are very happening. You will find most of the books and journals in the library. We have a college cricket team and a football team which go out and play tournaments outside the state also. also, we have an official intercollege cricket tournament called ICL and a football tournament called IUFL.you will not be having a very good social life out here honestly perhaps there is no social life in UEM, we have coding clubs robotics, music, etc clubs.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
