Remarks

The admission process was easy. we could find the application form on the college site lbtiw. There are merit, management, and NRI quota for admission. certain dates are given to the students to come for admission

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I couldn't get admission for the course which I liked. Faculties are well mannered and of high qualifications like Ph.D. etc. .terms exams are conducted twice in a semester. Questions are tough and are difficult to pass

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is about 35000 in a year and other fees are curriculum fee, PTA fee, sports fee, exam fee, etc. at the time of admission we have to pay up to 50000 for merit seat. For the rest of the year, it is up to 40000 annually.

Campus Life

Our annual fest yagna Dhruva was conducted in the last week of May and tech fest Prayag was conducted in the middle of May month. All the reference books are available at the college library. Sports day was also conducted in June.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are good, can be better. This year the average is 15L and median is 12L and highest is 50L for ece, the percentage of placed students in ece is also greater than 80%.In the 3rd year students are taken for interships and those may convert to placements and for 4th year students placements will start from the start of their 4th year itself.For ece meesho, dell, texax instuments and many other companies came, meesho paid the highest salary in ece.My plan is to secure a good job in core company.

Nit Calicut - Good Side and Worse Side

Placement Experience:

we get placements mostly in the post 6th sem or in 7th sem. Some major companies like texas instruments offer good packages here. others include meesho, goldmans sachs, dell, bpl. Highest package is around 50lakh for ece students and around 70 lakh for cse. more than 80 percent get placed from cse and ece but is only around 20 percent in branches like production engineering, engineering physics. less core companies than it ones

MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

Placements are the main highlight of our college.Highest package offered this year was 52 lpa by D.E shaw &Co . Average package was around 8lpa. Almost all students from CSE and ECE were placed . Companies: Redbus, Deloitte,TCS,UST Global etcs. Students from sem 6-7 are eligible for placements.

Reality of College life

My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. Other than keam exams NRI seat and spot admission are there as a few number. Cut off can vary every year depends on the number of students and their ranks....Read More

My college LBSITW is a government controlled self financing engineering college . It is managed and controlled by LBS centre for science and technology , a government organisation . It is not a fully government college but government supervisioned one .
