Remarks

There are many methods to take admission in UEM Kolkata like 1st is by giving entrance exam and getting admission on basis of 12th and JEE Main/Wbjee percentage 2nd is by paying advance to book a seat if there are vacancies .

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I love computer related stuff that's why. In every section of Btech there are around 80-90 students and every Department have there own HODs along with class teachers. The faculty members are of big help all the time whenever we are in need. And about the exam it is kind of hard-mid level exam.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of companies where we can opt for internship and our college always help there students with internship for our better future. We get lots of project in college to increase our skills like innovative projects, creating app and games like stuff.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for mine is 70000 per semester , if you apply for scholarship then you can opt for Govt. scholarship and for financial assistance the HOD of our college is a nice person if something happens then the college support the students for their studies so that they don't have to quit.

Campus Life

First the infrastructure it's very big college with nice playing ground, cafeteria, auditorium and labs for all subjects. Library is full of books and we can opt it any time we want. There are different functions, fest and sports festival.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. If u give the 10,000/- in advance then the seat will be booked for you and at the time of admission your money will be extracted from there. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
