Remarks

I showed my joint entrance exam marks. 12th qualified with 65% marks in maths, physics, and chemistry. I found the application form from Google. The admission process is perfectly fine. Overall I am happy with my College.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of my passion. I want to become a computer science engineer. There is no problem with no. Of faculties. Perfect ratio of faculties and students. The teaching method is fabulous. Teachers give their full effort. Faculties are highly educated and responsible. Terms exam held after 6months and difficulty level is not that much.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is available from the 2nd year. Many good companies offer internships for the students like TCS, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS etc with a good amount of stipend. You have is choose a project and work on it and make a good CV.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are a little much higher but affordable. Seat booking fees are Rs. 10000 and then admission fees are Rs. 81000. This is for the 1st semester and next semester's fees are Rs. 70000. There is a total of 8 semesters. There is an opportunity for a scholarship if you are eligible then apply for it.

Campus Life

The name of the annual fest is Ecstasia which is held in the month of March. And the most important tech fest UREKON is held after Ectasia. Books and journals and fully available in the library. Sports and extra curriculum activities facilities are great.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
