A student with B. Sc in Zoology can apply for this course. The application form will be released on www.burunuv.ac.in the website in the month of June-July every year. There are 2 parts of admissions held here one of that is direct admission which will be from your B. Sc (Hons) marks and the other from the Admission test held also here. According to govt. Rules there are reservations for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS categories candidates.

This is my dream course forever... I want to become a P. HD researcher so i chose this course. There will be a total 14 professors and one of them are HOD will be there every year about 85 B. Sc (Hons) students admitted in 1st sem through their merit and from the Admission test which will be held by this University. Professors are well qualified and well trained many of them had Post Doctoral fellows and D. Sc degrees also be included in them. They are very humble to students and their teaching methods are really good... They teach with chalk and board and smart screen also their and lab facilities are very good in this University. In this University yearly, 2 semesters are held, each semester's time duration will be 6 months and question paper is standard moderate to high..

Firstly you don't need to worry about fee structure... This is a government undertaking University so fee structure is not high... There will be admission fees of Rs. 3080 and then semester fees (2300 * 4) = 9200 or near about Rs. 10000 Total course fees of 2 years course. There will be scholarships for a poor but intelligent students from the State govt. Known as Swami Vivekananda Merit cum means and SC, ST, OBC and Minority scholarship also be provided.

Every year various annual programs are organized by Zoology Dept. They are - Teachers Day program, Annual Day Programme, Social and cultural programs... In this University a Central Library is the situation and departmental library are also found and they contain plenty of good books and magazine also there. Every year this University Organised inter departmental Annual Sports for 3 days and this university included Gymnasium facilities for Students... In Facebook groups names of Burdwan University Students and Burdwan University Photography Club, which will be operated by University Students.
