Overview on MAKAUT

I appeared for the JEE Mains examination, and I have applied for the Madras Christian College BCA course and the Jamia Millia Islamia BTECH course. I did not receive any response from Madras Christian College, and due to a lower score on JEE Mains, I did not get admission in Jamia Millia Islamia. I and my parents had decided that , I'll take admission in a good college within a feasible distance from my home in WB. So , I had applied to CS/IT branches in Jadavpur university , Government college of engineering and leather technology and MAKAUT . Out of these first I got selected in GCELT , later I got MAKAUT . I chose MAKAUT over the previous one because It had a bigger campus and better infrastructure . I got rejected from Jadavpur because of my rank of state rank of 3600... which is not enough for a general candidate to get into CS/IT branches of it. The admission process is straightforward. After getting selected through the counselling process you get an intimation from the university to visit the campus for document verification. The candidates should be WBJEE qualified, Everything is available from the college, yes there are reservations for lower castes. The average fees for all the courses is approx 400000/4years. Everything is fine here....Read More
